Draft Surfaces
The ability to draft a geometry is a requirement for tool and model making, as well as for mold and forge making.
Its functions automatically create smooth, tangent surfaces with a given height and draft angle, within a plane or a 2D/3D curve with a variable draft angle.

Projected surfaces are always ruled surfaces — for example, a straight line in a single direction can blend tangentially into a surface with a constant draft angle, or tangentially into a surface or curve with a variable draft angle. It can start from a curve on a draft-angle-free segment, or on a variable draft angle, or through two curves with a variable draft angle.
